Live Sound

Engineering & Live Recording

Clean front-of-house, dialed-in monitors, and full multitrack capture — by a working musician who knows what the stage needs to sound like.

I'm Andy Martin. Off-stage, I run sound. It started as a way to help bands I shared bills with get a better mix at the venues I was already playing — and grew into a side gig I take as seriously as my own shows. Whether it's a singer-songwriter night, a full-band set, a festival stage, or a private event, my job is the same: keep the room sounding like the band, and stay out of the way of the music.

What I do

Live Sound

FOH & Monitors

Front-of-house mixing and monitor engineering for bands, songwriters, and events. Calm at load-in, quick at line-check, a mix that sits right whether the room holds forty or four hundred. Comfortable on house consoles or a personal travel rig.

Mobile Capture

Live Recording

Multitrack capture of the whole show — direct from the stage, isolated and clean — so you leave the gig with a real recording instead of a phone clip. Good for live albums, single-song releases, EPK material, and band reference mixes.

Post

Mixing & Mastering

Post-show mixing of live multitracks and mastering for release. I work on the recordings I capture and also take in sessions tracked elsewhere. Final deliverables ready for streaming, physical, or radio.

Who I work with

Bands and solo artists who want their live show to sound the way it does in their head.
Venues and promoters who need a reliable freelance engineer for one-off shows or recurring nights.
Corporate and private events — weddings, conferences, fundraisers — where the sound needs to disappear and just work.
